Why?

As I sit here in my house looking at tech stories on CNET, I notice many things that are just random. Yes randomness. Let's just say Apple builds a lawn mower. While these recent events aren't as bad as that, they do make us think....

Let's see, a woman disqualified from a marathon because she was listening to her iPod during a race? Why? We live in the 21st century let's behave likewise. What's wrong with using 21st century tech in a 21st century world?

However, don't go over the top with tech:

BMW unveiled a series of new innovations for their Mini brand at this year's BMW Innovation Days. One of the concepts seems fine, artificially creating V8 engine for a more sporty driving experience(only vehicle occupants can hear the sound, which is plus).

But the other technology quickly became my WTF moment of the month. They call it Mini Connected Live. I call it bizarre. It's basically social networking in cars. I like the prospect, but how in the world can this work out? Smartphone apps on a cars navigation system. If we are not allowed to text while driving, why should we be allowed to do this?

When I get my license, don't be surprised to see me tweeting about my hybrid car's awesome V12 sounds.

Oh yeah, Obama got Nobel Peace Prize. Not bad for a guy not even a year into his presidency and accomplished nothing but spend taxpayers money and stir debate over Health Care Reform. Heck, SpellCheck even says his name's spelled wrong. I used to support him so much I got all my relatives  to vote for him(by this time you may realize I'm just a kid). Man, the Democratic party should have picked Hillary! He says its a "Call To Action". The Nobel board says nothing has given the world more hope than Obama in the past year.

I say to Obama: Stop spending our money and go rid the world of some terrorists. Also, Obama has promised us change. After the reforms and stimulus he has planned, all we have left will be change.

My forum is off to a rocky and invisible start. Please join at http://techfanatic.freeforums.org/index.php. AppleFan(Oscar Santos) will also be posting his views on the world in this blog, which is now a TechFanatic companion!
